I spent a rather warm afternoon out at Cecil Plains with the Tarrant family. I've known the Tarrants for as long as I can remember. I went to Kindy with Zac, the youngest of the Tarrant boys. Rhea had contacted me a number of times over the years to try to arrange a session together. Between her boys working away at different times, having babies and trying to find a suitable time of year to have the photos on the farm, it took a while but we finally got there!
There's an interesting balance when working with kids - work quick while they're happy incase we may have a limited opportunity, but also don't push them too hard to cooperate. I like working with kids, I have some of my own and know that there's no point in trying to push them. I'm happy to wait to go at the pace that works for them. So, with so many kids, we went slowly, and they all did amazingly, especially in the heat!
Rhea also set up a gorgeous little tea party for her granddaughters to enjoy at the end!
Such a special little touch!
