Few people have influenced my life, personally and professionally, the way that this couple has.
Andrew is owner and one of the cofounders of Salt Studios, where I also work as a photographer. I started with him, tagging along to weddings, when I was 15! That was almost 16 years ago! He taught me most of what I know when it comes to photography - shooting, editing and business. Because photography is largely a solo business I've found a lot of people in this industry can play their cards close to their chest and don't want to mentor or befriend the up and comers. That wasn't my experience at Salt in any way and I'm so grateful for the mentorship and friendship that he offered me!
And I've known Letoya since I was a kid! Our social circles somewhat overlapped and I got to know her really well when I started at Salt. She's been an incredible friend and mentor when it comes to life, marriage and parenting. She's been a big support in some of the toughest times in my life.
I can't explain just how grateful I am for the both of them.
