For a family that are very open about not liking being in front of the camera, they do a pretty good job! I love that Dani pushes through and makes the family do it anyway, she knows these memories will be special in the years to come. And we both know, as mums, that we have a thousand photos of our kids and rarely ones with them.
We've done the last couple of family photos at their home, it's just so easy with the kids. Harley loves his sandpit, digger and hoses so we have plenty of play time between photos to keep him happy. Their back steps are also a cool place to do our "progress" shot. As the years go by we'll slowly have a running history of how their family has grown.
At the end, Harley was so thrilled to get out of his photo clothes and into his play clothes so that he could go "fishing" with his grandma. I love these lifestyle photos the most, I think.
