Seb & Natalie

Updated: Jan 4, 2022

It's always an honour to be able to photograph family! I never expect that just because someone knows me that I'll automatically get the job. It's also extra special when I completely nail it for family hahaha. I was beyond excited with this wedding while I was shooting.

It was possibly the coldest and windiest day in September. I went to Seb and the boys first to get a few photos of the lads getting ready. I then headed to Nat's parents' place, where the girls were getting ready and the location for the wedding and reception. Nat's dad, Gary, is so creative and has completely landscaped their backyard from nothing over the years. Many family get togethers, events and parties have been held in their entertaining space and so it seemed so fitting for Seb and Nat to marry there too. Gary and Donna spent months in the lead up making sure flowers were planted at just the right time and watering was being done regularly. It looked beautiful and everything was perfect on the day!

As the girls were finishing up their final touches, the guests were arriving. After the ceremony we did some family photos in Gary and Donna's yard and then we headed to our nearby bridal party location for some extra photos. The spot that we used for their engagement session (here - https://www.rjphotography.net.au/post/seb-natalie-beloved ) was even more perfect on their wedding day! It's amazing how different it can look on different days. It was beyond freezing and the bridal party did amazingly well to power through! Totally worth it though!

Once we were done we headed back to the reception for the rest of the evening. It was a fantastic night, lots of family and friends celebrating such a wonderful couple.

Seb ad Natalie, thank you for the honour of being your photographer! I love you both and I'm so happy for you both, and the life you're creating together xo
