I had the pleasure of photographing Kahlia at her home for her formal. Kahlia's mum, Nadine, and I studied midwifery together a thousand years ago. It was so nice to catch up with the family again. Nadine's girls were all in primary school when we were studying so it's a bit surreal to be taking formal photos of them!
It was a hot and dry Toowoomba day but we had some shade from the big old gums in the backyard to do some photos under. We were missing one sister who couldn't make it home for the occasion but we did have an appearance from the family dog.
Kahlia, thank you for allowing me to capture this special day for you! I wish you all the best for your future. This is just the beginning!
